Despite depriving leaders of advertisements, Ruto advises them to read newspapers.

In order to stay up to date on the most recent happenings in the nation, President William Ruto has advised government officials to read their local newspapers.

This is all the while he keeps trying to force the closure of the same newspapers by directing government advertising into just one of them.

On Monday, February 19, Ruto gave a speech at the Lake Naivasha Resort in Naivasha. While there, he met with the Cabinet and Senate and Parliamentary members, who had gathered to assess the progress and performance of the government.

The President said he had been talking about the plans to recruit roughly 2,500 nurses during his visits across the nation and that he had also promoted them in newspapers. He was astonished to hear that some of the legislators were unaware of the plans.

“I’ve heard some of you claim that you don’t know. When I tell you, where do you want me to stand? What level do you need to hear properly? He made a pose.

“The jobs were publicized in the media, and I’ve brought up this topic in every meeting. Aren’t you meant to figure out where these openings are once you’re sitting in those meetings?
