Updates to Samsung’s Large Galaxy Buds Include Auracast, Expand 360 Audio, and More
Samsung has been working to get many of its top devices to be able to utilize AI and the new capabilities in One UI 6.1 since the launch of the Galaxy S24 series and Galaxy AI. Their current focus is on the Galaxy Buds 2 series and a future upgrade that will enable 360 Audio, Auracast compatibility, audio switching across multiple devices, and interpreter support on a Galaxy S24.

First up is Auracast, which Samsung claims will have wider support ranging from Samsung smart TVs and the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro to phones and tablets such as the Galaxy S24 series and all other devices getting an upcoming One UI 6.1 upgrade.
Samsung is simply adding additional devices to support Auto Switch once more. With the addition of PC functionality, Samsung is enabling users to switch between PCs and phones, such as the Galaxy Book 4. With Auto Switch, you can use your buds to watch a show and, in the event of a call, have Auto Switch instantly switch to a phone connection.
